	How do I update Name Preferences on the Tree?

Solution To update how names are displayed on Profiles and in the Tree you may update your Name Preferences. There are two locations that these may be updated, one is under Tree by selecting 'Prefences' and Names and the other under Settings and 'Name Preferences.' These preferences apply to family trees, profiles and the rest of Geni. This is a particularly helpful Preference for genealogists who prefer to show maiden names in the Tree. The default is still to show maiden name in parenthesis in the tree and not show maiden name on the rest of the site.

Simply select your particular preferences, save and close and you are all set!
