	How do I remove or combine duplicate profiles?

Solution To remove or combine duplicate profiles follow the steps below to merge the duplicate profiles:

1. Login to your Geni account and select Tree View
2. Click on the node you wish to move and select 'Move' from the 'More' menu on the
node.
3. The node will then be copied onto your sidebar.
4. Click and drag the node from your sidebar and place it on top of the other profile.
5. The system will ask you to identify this person, select "They're the Same Person."
6. Once the profiles are linked, you can selectg the Profile in the Tree to complete the merge.
7. Click on 'View the Other Profiles' and you will be taken to a carousel (if multiple) to compare and complete the merges.
6. If there are any profile issues you will be prompted to resolve them by selecting the appropriate information.
