How do I correct mistakes in my tree?
Solution There are a few ways to fix mistakes in your tree.

To edit the information in a person's profile-

    * Click on the person's name in your family tree to view their profile. Then click 'Edit Profile' which will take you to a page where you can fix any mistakes in their information.
    * Keep in mind that your editing privileges will depend on the claimers Profile Action settings or the managers Managed Profile settings. If you do not see the 'Edit Profile' button you cannot edit their Profile.

To delete a person in your tree-

    * You can remove people from your tree by clicking the 'x' in the upper right hand corner of the box.
    * Remember that you can't remove someone who has joined your family tree on Geni.
    * You also will not be able to remove a person when by doing so will split the Tree.

To move a branch of your tree, or change someone's parents-

    * If you have accidentally added someone to the wrong set of parents you can change their parents by clicking 'edit info' on their node within the Tree, then clicking on the 'Relationships' tab. Under the Relationships tab you can choose a different set of parents for that person. Changing someone's parents will also move all of that person's descendants, thus you can move an entire branch of your tree should that branch be in the incorrect location.
