I would like to delete link between me and ex-partner, there is no children and we have no present day connection with eachother

  Hi,

  My ex-partner of two years (no kids) and I are still linked in my tree. We both have very extensive trees. Is there a way to disconnect us while maintaining the integrity of both our trees?? I absolutely do not wish to jeopardize either of our trees but I would like to disconnect, if safe to do so.

  I need help removing my ex husband from my tree and splitting our connected tree. I have no children with him and want no memories of that relationship. I've tried everything and there is no way for me to remove him myself. Any help would be great!

  Ariann, as a side note, your mother has a tree on Geni as well.  These two trees should be merged.  Do you need assistance with it - happy to merge it for you.

  Basile, since there is no ancestry connected to your ex-partner, it would be better to just delete the profile.  You can do this in tree view by clicking the [x] on the profile or in profile view via the Actions menu, delete profile.
