Someone I have never met and certainly didn't give permission to DELETED my entire family tree that I spent hours on.
How the hell do you let that happen? I'll be sure to let everyone I know about just how bad your site is.

It it was a fantasy/fake tree it was probably deleted yes. Geni is for real people.
Hello!
Bjorn was simply trying to be helpful.
I am the person who deleted your tree.
Geni is working on making sure that the trees on site are real trees.
We have a great many fictional and game trees on the site; yours looked like one.
Most certainly I will put them back, if these are real people!
You have never added a tree with the login you are using now, - just check your own activity and statistics in your own profile.
You have probably used another account when you created your tree. Log out and log in again with another email address you might have used.
I did check my activity, and on September 16 it shows someone deleting all my records.
I haven't logged in for a few months.
And in my trash I have an email to this account's email address in July saying it had a match to someone on my tree that wasn't me.
I had people there, someone else deleted them in September, and now the activity report doesn't show me adding them, but this email proves I have the right account and did have at least one other person on my tree.
Who are you to make that decision?
Yes, I had a little fun with titles, but it most definitely was my relatives going back several generations.
Why do you think I got an email giving me a potential match (which it was)?
Awful, awful way to treat users. I'll be sure to spread the word.
i remember this tree!
Your father was born in 977, and looks exactly like Clive Owen.
that would be part of why I was confused. it looked exactly like a fake tree.
I didn't have an actual picture handy and he was born in 1977, I just dropped the ones for a little fun.
Since you didn't restore the whole tree, is there at least a chance I can get the whole thing as a gedcom file. Or restore it long enough for me to get an export so I can take somewhere that is a little more tolerant of whimsy that comes from researching a family tree.
All of the profiles that were on the deletion list got reinstated.
You should be hearing from Customer Service soon; they will be able to help you figure things out.
