I added my cousin to his father and he came out as a partner. I have tried to delete him, but says I can't unless I delete who he is connected to. The only person he;s connected to is his 'father'. I tried deleting him, but can't because I have to delete everyone and that is just way to much. I'm definitely not going to join to pay money if it's so hard to fix something. This is just too frustrating. Please help how do I delete a person without deleting the whole thing?

Oton Zagorc Do not try to delete the profile of a person, move it to the correct place in the tree. One method is from the tree view More -> Move this person. Or in Edit go to the Relationship tab and select the correct parents from the drop-down menu.
If that doesn't work (attempting to split the tree) post the link to the profile at the end of this discussion https://www.geni.com/discussions/172007?msg=1182064 and a curator will help you.

Helen Harris Lincolne I have to delete him. He doesn't belong on the tree. Instead of him being a son he became a partner. He is not a partner. There is no way to move him. Just totally disgusted. If you make a mistake everything is screwed up. People need to know how to delete a mistake.

My mother has been duplicate as my father's wife and my stepmother. I need to delete this stepmother that never existed

Oton Zagorc Laura, the appropriate way to resolve duplicates is to merge them. I already initiated the process but only you can complete it:
