How do I delete names I have entered ?

I have accidently entered names etc more than once. How do I delete these ?

  In Tree view there should be a little x in the top right hand corner of the name box (called node) if you click on this you should be able to delete the profile however if someone else has claimed the profile you won't be able to delete it. You may then need to merge duplicates.
