I uploaded a photo for someone who did not have a profile picture. I want to crop it so it only shows their face but want to be able to see the whole picture when you click on it.

Andrea Mosconi You can do this directly from the tree view. When you identify (or re-identify) the person in the photo, the identification box will be used to virtually "crop" the photo for the person, but you will still retain the original image as well. -
Yannick Sébastien Fournier Well, after I identify a single face on a single photo, it shows "error" to me too, while it was displaying before (although not framed correctly).

Žilvinas Bartkus No it doesn't do that. Even if you identify a person with a rectangular box around their face, it still shows full sized picture in their profile.

Joe Brous Buttrill It worked for me. I uploaded a photo with three people in it. I tagged the photo with three profiles. This photo became the the profile photo for all three people. I then went to the tree view for the first profile. I selected "More" to get a drop-down menu and selected "Resize Photo." I resized the photo so that only the image of the first profile appeared and clicked "Submit." The resized photo became the profile photo for the first profile. I repeated the process for the other two profiles. Each profile now contained only a picture of that individual, but the original group photo remained unchanged.

Žilvinas Bartkus Yeah, that did work. But ain't that what I initially did? I uploaded the photo and tagged each person around their faces...

Joe Brous Buttrill I didn't "tag each person around their faces." I uploaded a group photo and tagged it with three profiles. The group photo became the profile photo for each profile. I then went into each profile and "resized" the group photo so that only the picture of the person for that profile was displayed for that profile. This is not the same as "identifying a person with a rectangular box around their face."

Žilvinas Bartkus Joe, I get what you are saying. You didn't identify each person with a rectangular box around their face once uploaded a photo. Instead you "resized" for each profile from their trees.
However I did what you didn't do - identifies each peson with a rectangular box around their face. IMHO that should give the profile same sized profile photo (if the person didn't have one). Once I went to "resize" from the Tree, each person already had the same rectangular box around their face. I just had to confirm what was there in order to give the person a smaller sized profile photo.
