I made two changes to correct a problem, unable to undo and they were more right than wrong at first. I don't want to lose the previous information. HELP

Pam Wilson, Curator Stanley, I sense your frustration! Could you be more specific, however? Can you provide the URL of the profile and specify what kind of changes you make, and when? Thanks!

Malcolm Owen Why can't I undo errors? I made a change to an individual and cannot restore the original data.

Jeff, Geni Curator At this point in time, it depends on what field your talking about. In 2010, Geni added the ability to view and revert changes to descriptions fields on people, projects, and surname pages. To undo these changes, look for the "History" above the description field. The other fields are still in-work.
In a recent blog post, Geni stated "In the coming months we are going to build on this foundation with a number of enhancements. The goal is to let you view, track, and undo virtually any change across the site. This includes an oft requested feature – the ability to undo merges."

Jeff, Geni Curator As an alternate trick, you can click the back button on your browser. Your web browser can often cache the data in past pages, pulling it from your hard drive instead of Geni.com. By clicking back, you may be able to see what the data was and then click to edit, which is the online version, to manually restore the information.

Navid Harandi Hi, I made 3 updates to my tree and need to undo them. How would I go about doing that? Or is it possible for me to email someone to have it done? Thanks
Navid Harandi
