I was going to put in the profile the birth order of my sisters. There is no edit button on their square. I do I edit?

Jeff, Geni Curator If there is no edit, then you likely don't have permission to edit. In this case, probably a claimed profile or the person that manages the profile has not set it to allow family members to edit the profile. Your sister will have to set her own birth order, unless she allows family members to edit her profile (http://www.geni.com/account_settings/permissions).

Rennie (Randy) Innis The URL included above goes nowhere, dead page.

Jeff, Geni Curator Try this... go to the top right hand side of your Geni.com page and you'll see a "Settings" link. Click that... then look for "Permissions".

Rennie (Randy) Innis Ok. I can click on this Permissions link.
Now, how can I edit the Profiles that I am Manager for?

Jeff, Geni Curator You already can edit profiles you manage, unless the profile is claimed. If the profile is claimed, then they have to set their permissions to allow family member to edit their profile. -
Rennie (Randy) Innis Thanks Jeff, but this person (among others) have died. What to do then?

Jeff, Geni Curator Sorry for your loss. Open the profile of the deceased person. Select the option on the right-hand menu that says "More Actions". Choose "Report". A screen will come up. From the pull down select "Deceased" and add a comment for the Geni staff. They will then take the needed action to close the account. After the account is closed, family members will be able to edit it again.
