i cannot see my own family tree because i think somebody else is managing my profile

Until that account is closed, or your able to log into the other account and approve the merge, it will be stuck. I'm going to try and cancel all the merge requests and then try to start them again, but in a different order (doing the other claimed profile last).
So I'm hoping that you can now approve at least two of those three, which should allow you to see your tree again. You may have to contact help@geni.com to get the other one resolved if you don't recall the e-mail address for the other account.
