Why can't I update people I added to my tree?

after i'v add a person to my tree (i'm the owner) he adde his parents. than I cant any more update his profile

  Once a person claims their profile, you usually can not edit it any longer.  You should still be able to add on to the tree if it's within your family group or public.

  I have the same problem, but the person is deceased, so . . . he did not claims his profile . . . I'm the manager of his profile and I can not edit it?! Why?
