There should be a seperate option to indicate a persons' adoptive status.

  There should also be a way to designate co-parents who are not spouses. The co-parent of my granddaughter is not my daughter's husband, but Geni automatically says he is. There's no available option.

  I totally Agree ....there should be a Setting for Adoptive parents
