A tool for non-curators so that they can recommend a profile to be made into a master profile. It would be nice also if a explanation could be attached. Curators would then have access to a list of profiles marked as recommended.

Victar Using a discussion thread is clumsy and hard to follow, making it easy to miss requests, and not everyone reads discussions, especially if you don't speak English.

Victar Having a list curators can go through of master profile requests and clearly a better option.

Erica Howton I get "private" (Geni mail) requests, not everyone would want to be public. Very nice suggestion. -
Shmuel-Aharon Kam (Kahn / שמואל-אהרן קם (קאן Definitely worth a test-drive. If the flood-gates of requests open, then perhaps Geni could have a request COUNTER per requested profile. That would help thinning the crowd.

Victar Another possible step forward for this feature would be to have a label on recommended profiles, like Master Profiles, and call them Key Profiles, giving them preference in search, under MPs, but that would probably be best as a Pro feature.

Harald Tveit Alvestrand (Tveit) "Consider master profile" might work like a merge center list. I don't think we need more than the profile and the link to the requestor (for further discussion if needed, or pointing out why this profile is not MP-ready).
