When end date of any finished school is given, it is not saved after clicking save button. In timeline is shown "<starting_date> - present" all the time then and cannot be changed.

H M I get the same problem - likewise with employment dates. My own timeline shows that I am still at every job I've ever had.

Barry Downs BTW - I thought this might be a browser-related problem. But I get the same result with both IE 8 and Firefox 21.

Edward Hess, Jr. Problem is still there as of 6/22/2013. I have the exact same problem. When I go to edit the dates, they're updated as "between <start date> and <end date> - <end date>." Doesn't this read as the date the person started at the school was somewhere between the start date and end date, and finished at the school on the end the date? This is not what I want. It should just say "<start date> - <end date>. This bug must be fixed!

Barry Downs Could it perhaps be that the Geni people are too busy checking their bank accounts to attend to matters such as this? We're six months down the line with this problem and nobody at Geni seems to give a damn. As an IT professional with some 45 years experience, this is a problem that I have seen all too often. Software designed and written in a rush, with little attention paid to proper, thorough testing.

Permanently deleted user Hi All, this issue is now resolved and released to production. You can revise previous timeline entries by editing your profile and adding in the end-dates.
