My mother, initiator of this family tree died in April 2015. How do I get to manage it now?

  Has your mother been reported as deceased on her profile? You can request to manage any profiles you are related to. Geni is a world tree which is one big shared tree so most profiles have multiple managers. To request to manage a profile you go the profile in question then select the action button on the top right of the page. From the drop down box select Manager options then when the dialog box pops up click on the Request Management of This Profile button. Hope this helps you. Thank you.   Hi, you may report her profile as Deceased via the Actions button on her profile page. Once our customer service team receives the report, we will be able to assist with unclaiming her account so that you may update her profile to reflect her passing.
