I used Smart Copy, which I'm new to and am relatively new to Geni. and Somehow I messed up some relationships using Smart Copy relationships and wish I could just delete and start over. My great grandfather had two kids, he died, then his wife remarried and had about 5. The relationships are messed up, there are multiples of them and I've spent hours trying to fix it. Somehow I have multiples of everyone. Is there a way to find the duplicates and somehow the relationships too? Thanks.

Tina Brielle Rouse I totally agree, 1 thing in the wrong spot, and you can't just fix it. Usually I would just upload my gedcom, but you can't do that either. So frustrated. Think I'll just delete my account.

Geni Support Team Hi Laurie. Duplicates can generally be fixed by merging. Can you please provide the links to the profiles and the correct relationships so we can better assist?

Geni Support Team Tina, if you have placed someone in the wrong spot, you can fix it. Sometimes it's as easy as changing the parents from the dropdown under the Relationships tab. Other times, it may require using the "Move Profile" feature in the tree. We'd have to see a specific example so we can walk you through it.
You can also always reach out to a volunteer curator to help you fix it. Simply post your request in this public discussion https://www.geni.com/discussions/216411
