I can't get the "edit relationship" thing to work . Help!

  What are you trying to do? You cannot split the tree, so if you are getting that message please ask for assistance in https://www.geni.com/discussions/216411 (and give a link to the profiles there)

  You can edit relationships only for profiles you or a collaborator manage.
