If the management of profiles were recently transferred to you due to the inactivity of another user, then you should have received an email with the subject line, "Notice of profile management transfer." In that email, there is a link you can click to relinquish management of those profiles.
As Job recommended above, if you do not want to be given management of profiles in the future, then you can update your account settings here.
