Jeff, Geni Curator Those trees are not merged - though they should be. Geni is a shared collaborative world tree where we want one copy of a profile. https://www.geni.com/worldfamilytree/learn-more
If you're looking for your own private isolated tree, Geni is not the right website. I'd suggest our parent company MyHeritage. Eventually, you should expect your trees on Geni will be merged.

Michael James Jordan I sort of have the same question- all of a sudden someone else added several hundred horizontal family members, brother/sisters of direct descendants, to the tree I was working on. I simply don't want to view them or struggle thru the now hundreds of colored lines that are not clear. Is there a way not to view this or reverse? If not, I'm clearing my entries and out of here.

Jeff, Geni Curator Michael, you can use the tree display preferences to limit the visibility of additional branches. Often I do this by limiting the number of ancestors or descendants displayed at one time, but you could also click the box to focus on direct ancestors only. These preferences are at the bottom of the tree in a little tab menu. Alternatively, there is also a five generation view that is very nice for focusing on a direct ancestry.

Could you unmerge my tree from Eri Martin Figueroa tree? He had a mistake and he is now deleting files from my profile.
It appears Rufino Garcia as Father of Gertrudis Baez and He says that is wrong and he is deleting all the relatives up. Please do something. I Never put this relation. In fact in Family Search Rufino married Juana Población
