My account is setup with my 91 year old father. Sometimes when I search a famous person's relationship to him, it indicates my mother's blood line instead of his if her ancestral relationship is closer. However when it comes to George Washington it only uses my father's ancestors showing him as an 8th Cousin, and my mother, a 2nd cousin confirmed through GENI, is not even shown. Can I change the settings to only search her blood line?

Jeff, Geni Curator I don't think there are any options to limit the relationship pathing algorithm, but I think it may give blood relationships more weight. In the end though, it is a shortest path calculation. However, Geni does cache results, so you can often see a path longer than the shortest one. We can refresh the path in such instances.
