In trying to eliminate a duplicate branch, I merged two different people as one, so the remaining one now has the wives and children of the deleted one. The easiest way to fix this, it seems to me, is simply to delete all the people who are now mis-attributed and then add the deleted person back along with his wife and decendents. Problem is I don't have the ability to delete some of the people and I've been unable to get a response from the managers. Also there are interconnected trees that are affected. I don't know what to do.

Anne Brannen The easiest thing to do, really, is to unmerge. Curators csn do that; next time you can go to the discussion forum and post in one of the help threads.
but for now, i unmerged some merges and indeleted some profiles. i left your own deleted profiles as they are, but its not ok to delete profiles managed by other people, so those I reinstated.
