I have tried finding this out but to no avail. I have a pending merge that has everything correct except the father's name. If I ok the merge will the father's name error corrupt my profile?

Anne Brannen After any merge, there are usually some clean up issues.
When the profiles have been merged, go up to the right hand upper corner if the profile and click on the Actions link.
in the drop down menu click on Resolve Conflicting Data.
Choose the correct information and hit Save.
on the Actions menu there is also a link to see any other nearby conflicts. That will help you clean up that branch of the tree.
