Yesterday I found a person with a C in violet that means he is a curator...follow my family line and there is so many big mistakes that I´m very worry about it, This person does not appear like curator in the south america list and them?¿ how is that a person that is not on a list gave by GENI has a C in violet? How is that a person that has a lot of comments saying you are wrong can be a curator...so hard to understand and more when in my case I have more than 25 years working in my family search...I want to have contact with the real GENI TEAM...

Jeff, Geni Curator I would reach out to the Curator or one of the other South American Curators. Here is a list: https://www.geni.com/projects/Geni-Curators/9960
We all want an accurate tree and Curators definitely have the goal of correctly errors. But we're all human - just let one of those in the SA area know and I expect it will get fixed up soon.

Jenna Gray I want to have contact with the real Geni Team also. So far curators have: copied all my information from Wikitree and added it to Geni. Locked ancestors profiles, when they really have no connection or knowledge of the person. Copied an entire family history book published in the nineties - including hundreds of living people, aged and very young, without their permission onto Geni. Now I have a curator locking all the profiles of my ancestors. I've been working on my tree for months, tidying, confirming facts, preserving information from merges, merging, reading and writing researched histories about them. In many cases I'm the only person that has visited these profiles for often months - sometimes years. Now - after a curator has done his work, he's locked down all my relatives and I have to ask permission to change anything. The curator system is not working. I'm sure there's lots of nice ones, but I keep encountering people who think this s computer game where they get to hoover up everything they touch and do not care about the people - both living and dead - they stamping their names on. I'm very upset and I'm going to copy all my work over to Wikitree - and keep working in that space, despite all the positive things I see in Geni - I just don't like how curators work. The idea is nice, but the reality is they don't stick to the rules.

Marisol Moreno González Jenna I did with the General Manager of GENI...is not too much different to the answer that I received from Jeff...But is good that he knows that the mistakes are still doing so far the persons do the notice to the GENI TEAM. He has a personal profile where you can write him directly...even he doesn't like it but is one way to contact ...the other ...see who is your curator and who are the corators for your zone...write to each one Good Look ...didn't have any but at last they open the profiles to make corrections :(
