I have just spent $150 NZ to join Geni pro and yet everytime I search it comes up that I have to join My Heritage. Is this an upsell? Why cant I search anything in Geni (not a happy customer).

Your Geni Pro subscription entitles you to the benefits listed at https://help.geni.com/hc/en-us/articles/229706367-What-are-the-benefits-of-a-Geni-Pro-membership-
MyHeritage Smart Matches and Record Matches require a MyHeritage Data subscription, but they are free on Geni (so as not to cause a scenario in which you'd have to pay double).
