One of my relatives Shmuel (Mulia) Pashkar is adopted by his father Shlomo Pascari but he is Biological son of his mother Hanna (Honale) Pascari. However in the Relations window the option of Adopted versus Biological is provided for both parents together. How can it be resolved to reflect the complicated reality when for one of the parents he is Biological son, but for the other one he is Adopted?

You'll want both a biological relationship and an adoptive relationship in the relationships. Add the biological partner to the mother, then in tree view do a "more", "move" and drag the child over the biological father and define as child. Then you should see in the relationship tab two sets of parents. Define the biological father and mother as biological and the adoptive father and biological mother as adoptive. Geni will see that the mother is the same in both and then just list the father as adoptive.
There seems to be a bug, as the blood relatives of the adoptive parents will also show up as blood relatives of the adoptee.
