My sister did a lot of work in creating our family tree. She is the owner (if that's the correct term) but no longer has time to make corrections and updates. I agreed to take over this maintenance work. I have a subscription and a profile. How can my sister either give me ownership or (even better, if possible) share ownership with me?

Job Waterreus You should be able to manage those profiles without having to do anything for that.
If you also what to get the mails from Geni about them you can use the action menu to add yourself as a manager (or your sister could do that) If a profile is managed by both of you, you can remove your sister as manager, so she would not get any mails about that profile anymore.

Anne Banks I too want my 'family tree' to be managed by someone else. Am I correct, from the comment above, each personal profile has to be changed to the management of the new person?

Job Waterreus Public profiles can be managed by all Geni users, so please check all deceased profiles to see if they are public.
Private profiles within your family group can be managed by other users in your family group. You can add someone to your family group (see https://www.geni.com/account_settings/family) if you that person to be able to manage all your private profiles or you can add someone as a manager to individual profiles.
I'm not sure if/how you can transfer management for a group of profiles. You could try to ask in https://www.geni.com/discussions/216411

Harold Lumicao Liban My second Cousin Generoso Bulan Lumicao and I are collaborators on our Ancestral Gaddang Tribe Tree. I'm getting up in age at 88 going on 89 in 6 months. My memory is still fantastic and I still feel good continuing what I'm doing on our tree. There will be a time when I won't be able to continue updating, adding new names, and maintaining the tree. My Second Cousin, Generoso Bulan Lumicao and I are collaborators on our Ancestral Gaddang Tribe Tree. I will eventually want to pass all of my Profiles to Generoso before the end when I can no longer continue work on our tree. If Generoso is unable to maintain the tree, he or I will designate a close relative to continue the tree. What if there is no one to continue the tree, what happens to our Tree? I have a Pro Subscription, Generoso does not. Will that make a difference passing my profiles to him? Would there be a possibility to also pass my paid Pro Subscription to Generoso?

Job Waterreus You have a Pro membership so please raise a ticket with Geni and let them explain the possibilities to you.
