I made a tree on a different genealogy software(Find My Past) and imported that tree to Geni a couple months ago. I've been adding more people to my tree on the different website(Find My Past) after I did the import to Geni. If I import my whole tree again with newly added people who aren't on Geni, and ones who I have already uploaded to Geni, will it automatically merge the duplicate profiles that I have already added?

Job Waterreus No it will not, it will create duplicates for each profile that is already on Geni, so you should NOT do that.
You can try using SmartCopy (https://www.geni.com/projects/SmartCopy/18783) to copy over any information that is not already on Geni.

Kyle Smucker So does that mean I would be able to import my GEDCOM file through SmartCopy and it will remove the duplicate people for me?

Job Waterreus No it would mean you will have to import your GEDCOM on a SmartCopy supported site like:
- MyHeritage Data (SuperSearch, Smart Matches, Record Matches).
- MyHeritage Genealogies
- Billion Graves (via Smart Matches)
- Find A Grave
- WikiTree Genealogies
- WeRelate Genealogies
- RootsWeb WorldConnect Genealogies
- Ancestry Genealogies
- FamilyTreeMaker Genealogies
- FamilySearch.org Genealogies & Records
- Geneanet Genealogies
- The Next Generation (TNG) Genealogies
And copy over using SmartCopy any family or person that is not already on Geni, so that is also a lot of work.
Using Geni together with any other site will mean a lot of work if you use that other site to change info.
It would be much easier if you use Geni to make changes. You can make a GEDCOM export from any Geni profile you added (but keep in mind that the number of profiles you can export from Geni is limited to 5000 profiles if you are a basic user or 50000 profiles if you are a pro user) and import that on the other site.
