Bulk import and multiple trees create havoc

Currently Geni is becoming more and more unusable. I thought the basic idea was to create a "world-tree", however that is not possible to achieve with the current setup.

Could Geni please consider to do the following:

Remove the function for creating new trees in Geni and tell users to use MyHeritage for private trees.
Existing trees other than the world-tree are deleted. Trees that are active may for a specific time period be transferred to MyHeritage.
Curators are again given the opportunity to merge profiles to get rid of duplicates (especially private profiles).
Bulk import from Gedcom files etc. can only be allowed for profiles that do not already exist.

The reason for the last suggestion can be explained with an example.

Currently we have one user who is creating a lot of unnecessary work by so far importing more than 40000 profiles (ongoing process). They are more or less all duplicates of existing profiles. In addition to the fact that most of the imported profiles are of poor quality, the user does not pay attention to any messages sent to him from other users or curators. The user has been reported, however nothing happens.
