Job Waterreus Could your edit rights have been revoked?
You might try to contact Geni, see How do I contact Geni about my subscription?

(No Name) i apparently am unable to contact support unless i pay for an annual membership, but thank you for your reply. yes apparently they have been revoked due to a misunderstanding and someone reporting me for vandalism bc i was editing my profiles, and did not understand the full impacts of my edits. so now i have been sent to my room without any supper simply bc i don't use the site all the time, and don't fully understand things.
i have been researching my genealogy since i was 12 years old. there is nothing more important to me than preserving the history of my family, it's incredibly close to my heart. i'm not just one of those people who just likes to have a lot of people in their tree, this is all very private and deeply personal, and driven by a need to understand the epigenetics of my family. if i had understood how this site worked, honestly i never would have brought my data here. i did so only at the suggestion of a friend who wanted to see if / how we were related. this entire situation has hurt my heart deeply, and upset me even more.
but what can i do? i've been locked out of my family, and have cried most of the day over it, because i was accused of something i never intended to do and punished because of it.
again, thank you for your reply. -
