Jeff, Geni Curator Two optons:
* I want to donate the profiles I manage to the Geni community. This wil enable active Geni users to edit and merge these profiles and maintain the accuracy of the Geni tree.
* I want to transfer the profiles I manage to another user. He or she will manage the privacy and receive requests for these profiles.

Jeff, Geni Curator Oh wait.. sorry, I thought you were talking about closing your account. If you just cancel your pro membership, nothing happens.. they stay just as they are and are still your profiles.

Desmond Woolford, Mr Thanks for the info Jeff, my main concern in closing the Geni Pro account is the message at the bottom of the page which reads-
"After clicking the Close Account button below, you will no longer be able to login to view your profile or manage the profiles you've added on Geni."
Doe's that mean I will not have access to be the original Profile Manager as a standard member

Jeff, Geni Curator Desmond, it's good that you clarify as that is not the page to cancel your pro membership, but to cancel your Geni account. To cancel your pro membership, you just disable the auto-renewal. Check the box at the bottom that says "Cancel automatic renewals. At the end of my billing cycle, remind me to renew." https://www.geni.com/account_settings/premium_account_edit?confirm=true Alternatively, you could just remove your credit card from the billing page.
