I do not understand how to connect the source and the profile.

I uploaded several documents today before I realized that the images were not mine to load. Therefore I have removed all those images and then composed a manuscript reference to a census image in my file. This text document should enable other searches to verify my assertions about the value of this document as a source.

The document is linked to the three family members whose profiles are connected to the document. How do I turn this into a source?

I don't think I can attach a file because it is a document on this site. It will be the ONLY document appearing attached to me until I learn how to proceed from this point.

  I submitted this question in March of this year.

  I STILL DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CONNECT A DOCUMENT TO A PERSON OR HOW TO USE THE DOCUMENT AS A SOURCE!

  Why don't I have an answer? Did I post the query to the wrong place? If so, where does the question go?

  Please refer to our FAQ: How can I tag a document?

  To add a source click on the Source tab of the profile and click "Add Source." Choose a document and select which facts you wish to source.
