Can I invite someone to join the tree without an email address

I would like to invite someone to my tree that does not have an email address.  Can this be done?

  i don't thinks so, how should the person get an invitation without an email address?

  You can share your tree:

  Family tree > Share your tree > Link to your tree http://www.geni.com/family-tree/share 

  Geni doesn't actually check if an email address is valid before starting a tree, so if someone is determined to be part of your tree without one, they can start a tree themselves and then you can merge the 2 profiles. Password recovery is not possible without a valid email. 

  Should they like your tree so much that it's worth opening an email account, then the new address can be added to the profile and used to log in later, provided they haven't logged out after creating their profile.

  PS Gmail is a great email service provider.
