how do we unmerge

my uncle accidently merged my tree and his, he wants to undo it now but how

  Yeah, how can I "unmerge" a merge that was wrong?

  You can't "unmerge", not yet at least (Geni is working on this feature).  The goal is to merge all duplicates - one profile for one person.

  Find the right place where to remove the connection and then add new profile(s) to the pruned tree.
