How long to fix a ticket? How to fix vandalism?

Someone vandalized a huge swath of my tree, and I'm hoping that the Geni folks can simply undo the changes. Otherwise I'll have to go trough and reenter a lot of people's information by hand (many people, including living people, were deleted, so I'm not even sure if the changes are logged any more).

I filed a ticket with Geni 20 days ago.  It's current status is:

"Awaiting assignment to a help desk operator."

My questions:

1) Is there anything else I can do to fix my tree?

2) Is this a usual wait time?  20 days seems like a lot.  Some of the vandalism is rather insulting of my family members;  I'm hoping that Geni can help me before my family logs in and sees it.
