Please tell me how to delete a person

I have attached a person with wrong name  to my tree and on the wrong place in the tree. How can I delete it and I can´t make changes or add personal details in a persons profile any more. Gig

  just click on the X in the profile box(node) and follow the instruction

  once the profiles are merged the X vanishes and you're stuck!
