Why one of the profile boxes in my tree, change color from blue to white

I asked the following, and so far have had no answer, why?

One of my forefathers, Hans Torshaug 1824 - 1903, have his box WHITE instead of BLUE, WHY?

And when I try to update his dates: birth, marriage and death like this: 07.10.1824 it comes up this way instead 7/10/1824 and I cannot fix it!

Another question I have:

Why are some names locked with a lock, so that I as a PRO cannot Merge 2 profiles? I have contacted the manager of the profile, but so far no reply...
