I remain mystified why it is so challenging to find the "deceased
family member" topic high in the main FAQ. As you review your forum, it is
incredible the dis-satisfaction by many users because they could not easily
find the answer and decided to flame all of geni.com.

Geni Support Team Please refer to our FAQ: How can I update the profile for someone who is deceased?
You may also use our Report feature to report a relative as deceased. Simply navigate to your relative's profile page, click "Actions" and select "Report." Choose "Deceased" from the drop down and submit.
