My email and password don't work and I want to retrieve a message left for me. When I try to retrieve it, it says neither the password or email are correctly entered

If you know the email address you used originally when you joined Geni please try to reset your password, please try the following:
- Click the "Don't know your password?" link from the login page
- Enter the email address associated with your Geni account and click 'Submit'
- We'll send you a link you can use to set a new password
If it states the email address is not recognized, you may have used a different one and if you do not remember which email address you used, please send an email to subscriptions@geni.com for further assistance.
