Did Geni lock out us non-paying users since I was last here?

I spent a year and a half entering 35,000 profiles by hand, then had to take a hiatus for the last year. Now I find that I can no longer add spouses, merger profiles, or even submit a support ticket! When I attempt each of these things I'm taken to a page that asks me to become a paying member for a "free trial." This is unconscionable! Yes, the service has been provided free, but I have contributed those 35,000 profiles to Geni's product, and they are offering them to their paying customers while cutting me off.

Am I understanding this correctly? I can't ask Geni directly because they won't let me open a ticket. Does anyone else find themselves in this frustrating position?
