Memory space allocation

Dear Geni community,

Anyone got any ideas on how much space is allocated to each tree. For example we have tonnes of video clips of which we would like to upload and tonnes of pictures we would like to upload. How much space do we have allocated to either each profile or the whole tree?

  Basic account has 1 GB media 

  Plus account has 2 GB media 

  Pro account has unlimited space.

  Thank you Monica, I have just read the answer to this after 2 years lol!  Have there been any changes to this answer since the merge with the other ancestry website?

  Is it still 1GB for basic and is that for each individual member or for the entire tree?

  I believe that is still correct and that it is per member.  They have not changed the FAQ on it: http://help.geni.com/entries/20447001-What-are-the-different-types-of-Geni-memberships-

  Shabir, I'm not aware of a way to check the storage used.
