Why can't I remove a profile I manage ?????
The person has asked me expressively to remove her from the tree.

Geni Support Team Hello Herve:
Since building a family tree is a collaborative process, there are three cases where you will not be able to remove a person:
1. That person has joined Geni and "claimed" their profile. If this is the case, that claimed user must cancel directly from their account under 'Account Settings' and Close Account.
Have they already activated their accounts? If so, they must login and go here: http://www.geni.com/account_settings/close_account to close each of their own accounts.
2. That person has other relatives attached to him or her, who would otherwise be disconnected from the tree.
This can be handled by first deleting the attached relatives, which will then make your target person removable.3. You do not have permission to edit that unclaimed Profile.
