In the exchange of messages beginning November 1 with the change in tier memberships, etc. Amanda answered that anyone who had already exceeded the new 100 profile limit before November 1 would still be able to add 100 profiles. It is not clear if that is correct or not, but if so geni users should be informed of this and how to do it since everytime you click start a ticket or many other places you are led to the upgrade page. If geni is maintaining this limit of 100 profiles for basic free accounts, which I do not understand and disagree with vehemently, then the grandfathering of longtime users which was mentioned by Amanda should be well publicized and how it can be done should be clear since it says at the top of the home page that my account has exceeded the 100 profile limit.
