How can I update a birth date (or other information) if Edit button is missing?

  Hello Dorit and Richard:

  If the edit button is missing on a profile you added, then it would mean that they have claimed their profile (accepted to join Geni). You would still have the ability to edit their profile, until they have set their permanent password and updated their Privacy Settings.
  
  If that person would like for you to edit their profile, they must login to their Geni account, go here, check on the "Let my family edit my profile" box and save that update.
