At the onset I will say that I do not remember getting any notification about the move to a pay service and the limitations.
My wife discovered Geni in 2006 or 2007 and we then began the task of uploading our family tree to the cloud very cool stuff. From the statistics it seems that we have uploaded more than 1000 people and these have then cause others to join, and they told two friends and so one and so forth - huge success.
Now in order to see the people that I MYSELF ADDED I need to pay money? how is this fair - why was I not grandfathered why was i not contacted directly?
Why now do I need to pay in order to speak to someone from the company in order to figure out how to
get access to everyone I have added
and download all of them to a different format that is more "open source" friendly so I can maintain what I have created
