My tree has reached 100 people and I'm thinking about upgrading. I have filled in all the family members that I know of. If I upgrade I'd be doing it so that my family members can continue adding to the tree. If I upgrade, can my family members add to the tree up to 1000 people as well or just me?

Lo The membership is just for an individual. If you pay for a Plus Membership for you, then it is you who can add up to 1000 people/ bring the total in the family up to 1000. Folks who are still Basic will be able to see the Family Members you add, and will be able to edit them, but they will not be able to add. (Tho anyone who has actually added less than 5 folks will, I believe, be able to add up to a total of 5 folks themselves according to current rules - whether or not you upgrade).

Joshua Scott Lehrer Well, that stinks. I guess it is time to find a new site to host my family tree. There is no way all of the participants in my tree are going to subscribe, and, IMHO, the value behind Geni is when you find a distant relative who joins and starts helping to improve your tree.
