I added a profile to the world tree which turned out to be a duplicate, then merged it with the existing public profile.
The manager of the existing public profile, who also happens to be a curator, undid the merge, made the existing profile private, and left my duplicate profile as an orphan. He considered the public profile to be part of his 'private' tree.
Apparently a curator has the power to do this, but is this behavior in compliance with Geni-rules?
