I'm stumped. By mistake I assigned Unknown Unknown ( http://www.geni.com/people/Unknown-Soltau/6000000015526947142) to be Mary's (http://www.geni.com/people/Mary-Bewes/6000000010811213642) mother (which is the correct relationship) and then afterward assigned Unknown Unknown to be Mary's daughter (which is an incorrect relationship). I have as yet been unable to fix this error.
I would much appreciate anyone's help.

Thanks to an unrelated post on COMMUNITY HELP, I was able to correct my error using the the tool at the bottom of Relationships tab that is accessed via the Edit button on the profile in the View Tree mode. The tool allows you to sever the relationship between an individual and your tree. Funny thing is I hadn't previously know about it because in my environment this valuable tool never appears unless you respond to the error message that says "loading relationships is taking too long. Retry without waiting for cycles" or some such thing. I never understood the message so I never discovered this tool until I read about it here.Geni is a great utility site--not nearly perfect, but then what site's are. I use genealogy.com and geni.com along with the British Library newspaper site and a few other resources and together, they are a great way to build a tree.
