Hello, I am Pro user and I'm sending merge request about a person in my tree to one with basic account. For some reason they are requested to upgrade to Pro in order to be able to approve my merge request in their tree. Could you please fix this quickly so that I can continue collaborating with other Geni users.

Lo Did you miss it -- on August 11, 2011, one of the changes Geni initiated was to make it impossible for Basic Users to accept merge requests. It is always possible that if enough Pros complain, perhaps they will reconsider. But it is definitely how Geni is currently choosing to be working.
