Secure site? Where is the https in the URL?

Despite what their stated privacy policy may say, when you type in information the URL does NOT display https.  Just http.

Without the s, this is not a secure site and all family’s maiden names, birth dates etc are able to be viewed by any con that wants to break into your online finances.   I also don’t see any universal lock icon or similar on the pages as another standard privacy indicator.

It appears on Geni that the only time https shows is if you were going to put in a credit card number to up your subscription level from free so technically they could say it was a “secure” site.    But that doesn’t mean the rest of your info on the site is secure just the credit card info.

I'd like Geni to respond and provide clarity to this question.
